A well-functioning, stable and reliable IT environment is also very important in the healthcare sector. The St. Anna Care Group had renewed its IT infrastructure and subsequently purchased a PQR strip card that was used to set up support. However, PQR Lifecycle Services offered just those extras that made the service more accessible and simple. This has resulted in a satisfied customer who has renewed his one-year contract for another year.
St. Anna Care Group
The St. Annaziekenhuis (Geldrop and Eindhoven), Ananz (Geldrop and Heeze) which consists of four residential care centers and medical sports health center TopSupport (Eindhoven) together form the St. Anna Care Group. Within this group, attention and care are central and synergy is achieved through the exchange of knowledge and experience. Its strength lies in its small scale, which allows commitment to be optimized and flexibility in responding to the care needs of patients and clients.
From Strip Card to Lifecycle Services
In 2015, PQR created a workspace environment at the St. Anna Care Group delivered. For support on this environment, a so-called PQR strip card had been purchased. This is a credit for troubleshooting and services that employees can use. Marcel Verbunt, Head of Medical ICT: “Because PQR built our workplace environment, and knows all the ins and outs, it is easy to switch in case of breakdowns. The strippenkaart entitles us to PQR services and in particular knowledge in the broadest sense of the word, but in my view too little use was made of it. Take the preparation or discussion of migrations or changes in the IT environment: within the services offered there was the possibility to look for solutions together, but this was hardly done.”
PQR’s 2015 annual knowledge event IT-Galaxy introduced PQR Lifecycle Services. Under the guise of “it doesn’t start until the project is done,” PQR offers this service to maintain the health of mission-critical IT environments, actively participate in version control and asset management. Lifecycle Services ensures business continuity, reliability, availability, capacity, security, speed and scalability of the ICT environment so that it continues to add value to internal business processes. PQR Lifecycle Services are flexible and fully customizable. Lifecycle Services consist, at a minimum, of service desk and support engineer support, maintenance and management, on-call and on-schedule support, and health checks.
